Best Covid Test

Anybody recommend, in your experience, the best company to provide a guaranteed test result please ?
My Mrs has not seen her mother for 18 months, is now panicking about test results not coming back in time before her flight is due to Vienna at the end of the month.
Obvs before she flies she has to prove she can fly, so need to get a negative result

Check very precisely what the test needs to be:
Spain for example accept a PCR test or a LAMP test.
LAMP test same price and results back in 60mins.
I used this mob when we went to Majorca. Drove Daughter to Stanstead the day before and had results before we got back to Hornchurch - they test at all London airports.
postal ones have been Ok, but stress knowing if you are going to get the results in time (for day2 tests who cares...your home by then)

It's worth noting that the only requirement for the Day Two test is that you have the reference number on your Passenger Locator Form. You should take it, of course, but it doesn't need to be an expensive 'in-person' test - just find the cheapest possible test and use the reference number.

Just got back from Switzerland and didn’t need a test before as double vaccinated
Used Dam Health Brentwood for 2 day test and got results back that night

All NHS tests are free, but they can't be used for travel.

We used Randox Health to travel to Spain a couple of weeks ago and they were pretty good

By the way, I told them that I had lost my sense of taste and smell. For me it was true but you could say it anyway.

I booked on the NHS website but you've got think that you are displaying symptoms. The I went to a walk in PCR testing center (and it was on a Saturday too) and got my results back in 7 hours. It was completely free.

My wife booked ours for tonight at Stansted. No idea how much, but I think they were around £40.
Wife's friend flew out to Corfu this morning, they all had their tests, none of it was checked at the airport or getting on the plane, just waved through a half empty stansted. Plane only 25% full as well

Qured can be used easily in conjunction with the Verifly app which is handy because the airlines accept it so it saves some hassle at the airport

This can all be done very cheaply now. As an NHS membor of staff and flying on BA next week I've got my 'Fit to Fly' test (three days before return) and Day Two (after return) tests bought for £42.40 total.
